Palm Springs Please

Last week Dan and I broke our 200+ consecutive days in a row as he headed off to Mexico and I headed down to Palm Springs. 

It was a sunny, beautiful, much needed 4 days of relaxation, tennis, and time with my family. 

I love the BNP Paribas tennis tournament. You get to see the players up close and personal, and watch tennis under the hot Palm Springs sun. 

We saw a lot of tennis and came home with the tan lines to prove it. 

We also played some tennis, relaxed by the pool, and watched more tennis...The perfect Schneider weekend. 

It's always hard to come home from vacation, but having my fiancé, who I had not seen for 9 days, pick me up from the airport made it well worth it.

You+Me Forever

                         

Last Friday Dan and I went to play a round of tennis...something we like to do pretty regularly. 

We had finished the first set, and it was my serve. 

When I asked him to give me the tennis ball he pulled me onto the court, got down on one knee, and gave me a diamond ring instead. 

I can honestly say it was the happiest moment of my life thus far. 

Loving Dan has never been a choice for me, it's just always been the way it was going to be.

We often say that our hearts found each other before we did. It sounds cheesy, I know, but I think they were meant to be together. 

I feel truly blessed to love someone who loves me too, to want to make someone happy who wants to make me happy too, and to want to be with someone forever who wants forever with me too. 

June 6th you better hurry! Only 96 days to go!
