thankful for NYC.

I got to spend my Thanksgiving in NYC with my sister, my best friend and her husband.

It does not get much better than that.

We had a bird's eye view of the Macy's Day Parade,

saw the Rockettes, visited Times Square,

strolled through Central Park,

and after three attempts drank frozen hot chocolate at Serendipity.

I am so grateful that I got to see Carli, Catherine, and Preston.

I have missed all of their presences in my life!

They make me so happy and I am so thankful to have spent my Thanksgiving with them!

Happy Birthday Cath!

Happy birthday to my beautiful, wonderful friend Catherine.

She turns 22 today!

This is the first time I am not there to celebrate her birthday with her.

However, I know that her parents and husband are taking good care of her.

Catherine is the most amazing friend.

She has been my other half for a long time.

And even though she lives in NYC now, I'm not worried about us.

We will always always be Sue and Gladys.
